Well done to everyone in Room 9 for your wonderful behaviour in Singing Assembly. Sunny B will now spend the next few weeks in Room 9.

Pacifica Arts Centre Trip

We had a fantastic day at the Pacifica Arts Centre. We began learning greetings, followed by weaving, dance and drumming and an island style lunch.

Hello 2013

We have made a great start to the term in Room 9. We have only been at school a few days and already we have had a swimming lesson, met our buddy class and of course we are working hard.

Gumboots and Umbrella Day

Olympic Medals

What a great start to the morning. At 9.00 am Mr Wood (Bea’s dad) arrived in our class with not one, not two, not three but four real Olympic medals. The medals belong to Blythe Tait who won his medals riding horses at the Olympics. He won the medals at the following Olympics: Individual bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. A silver in the teams event at Barcelona in 1992. Individual gold medal and team bronze at Atlanta in 1996. Miss Rodger could not believe how heavy the medals felt around her neck. Thank you Mr Wood.
