What a great start to the morning. At 9.00 am Mr Wood (Bea’s dad) arrived in our class with not one, not two, not three but four real Olympic medals. The medals belong to Blythe Tait who won his medals riding horses at the Olympics. He won the medals at the following Olympics:
Individual bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.
A silver in the teams event at Barcelona in 1992.
Individual gold medal and team bronze at Atlanta in 1996.
Miss Rodger could not believe how heavy the medals felt around her neck. Thank you Mr Wood.
