Science and Technology Week

On Thursday afternoon we had to create an outfit in our Technology teams. The outfit had to be modelled by a team member and have a New Zealand flavour. Check out our designs.

Wolf Descriptions

We have been learning to write descriptions with Mrs Smith. This is the starter she gave us. Read some of our descriptions below.

It was a dark stormy night when I left my friends house to go home.

The path through the bush was damp and stony.

As I turned a sharp corner, there to my surprise crouched a wolf!

He had ....

He had sharp pointy teeth and eyes like a yellow light. His fur was fluffy and soft and as black as the night. He looked mean and vicious.

Davin

He had teeth like a vampire and ears like cactus spikes. His fur was pitch black and as soft as a fluffy dog. There was water dripping from his mouth. His howl was so bad that it echoed for miles. My tense muscles pumped and I ran away as fast as lightning.

Leo

He had yellow eyes like torches.   His fur was as thick as a whale’s skin and patterned with grey. I thought the wolf would chase after me. It howled and howled. I shivered with fear. He gnashed his terrible teeth. I froze.

Oscar

The wolf was big and scary. Its gums were red like lava and its fur was black like shadows. The wolf growled at me. I started shaking like an earthquake and I felt faint.
