Our buddy class is Room 3. We met our buddies for the first time on Friday afternoon. We sang songs and read to our buddies. We are really looking forward to hosting our full school assembly in week 9 on Friday 30 March.

Assembly
Last week Rooms 10 and 15 hosted their second school Assembly of the year. It all began like this.
During the Rugby World Cup one wet winters day
Mrs Stewart was looking for Rooms 10 and 15 at Sunnybrae.
She headed out back to check the grounds
And was nearing the field when she noticed some sounds.
People were cheering and someone yelled, “Catch!”

Cultural Week at Sunnybrae

One sunny morning a very hungry crocodile was sitting on her eggs keeping them warm. She was starving to death. All of a sudden she saw a monkey.

Hundreds of years ago there was a very wise monkey still living when the dinosaurs were alive. They were living at the foot of the Himalaya Mountains.

Many years ago when dinosaurs lived there lived a big, strong and smart monkey. She lived in a fig tree at the bottom of the Himalaya Mountains by the river Ganges. In the river lived a crocodile. She said, "that monkey's heart looks like a juicy treat to me!"
